"...and most important: he must be a christian. thats one of the deciding factors..."
getting more and more absurd. the reasons to reject me. first the father. now the religion.
but it aint my first encounter. some years ago, the same thing happened. now is all but a deja vu. for since ive began ive never wanted to make religion an issue in my relationship(s) [note the (s)] but somehow. girls always want it to be in the spotlight.
why the big fuck? so that ull end up in the same heaven when u bloody shoot yourself? (but then again. shooting yourself will only end you up in hell.) for muslims, i understand religious constraints requires one's non-muslim spouse to convert to muslim. but so far me, a buddhist, has never heard of any rule or commandment or whatever that makes converting upon matrimony an obligation that must be fulfilled.
its like. ok im buddhist, you're christian. and we're bout to get hitched. its not very nice a signal to send if we held either a christian or buddhist ceremony. why not. a chinese ceremony? (im assuming both parties are chinese. then again. many cross-racial marriages just end up including chinese ceremonies.)
so yea. my point of view about religion. i detest people who judge others and accept others based mainly/solely on religion. the God/Buddha/any-other-omnipotent-being doesnt make the man, you know.
