'Was on the way home from sending cordee back to her place when i saw this old man on the LRT sitting opposite me. immediately when i looked at him, i felt a great sense of grief, and solitude coming out from him. then i thought, "he should be about 70, what is he doing out all alone, dressed so smart with pressed shirt and pants, with leather shoes?"

whats more, i noticed the two wedding bands made of pure gold. i heard somewhere that people sometimes wear the ring of their moved-on spouse with them. so yea, that was the first impression he gave me. whats more theres that soulful expression on his face. almost made me want to go up to him to ask about his life story.

oh well, will i end up like that 40, even 50 years down the road? despite coming a long way, i have no one to continue it with me? i hope not, for i have her now. as what they always say, seize the day!

after a good day's out with cordee, we went to check out the fireworks festival at the floating platform. i managed to get two tickets for that after a long story, but decided to give mum a good time there instead. so, we stood just beside the area at the bay and waited....


and waited...


and waited...

while instead of fireworks, they had fireACTS that lasted a good hour. cant comment on them much cause all i saw were small embers floating about the dark.

but as promised, the fireworks display came at about 2115-2130. no amount of pictures can express how beautiful were they, no matter how pro your assumed photography skills may be.
still, ill show some pictures i took ba. =]

"Singapore ends 48-year Olympic medal drought"

went the headlines just about everywhere on the Internet news websites.

at about 6plus this evening, 'was at wisma walking around after sending cordee to the train station. a big crowd was at this al'fresco restaurant, so being the usual mr.kaypo, i went to take a look. just in a nick of time, i saw Feng Tianwei of the Singapore Women Table Tennis Team (SWTTT, similarly aggressive name indeed lol) finish off Park Mi-young of South Korea, and as a result, qualify the team for the finals against either HK or China. this means they guarantee themselves a medal. and become the next Olympic medalists from SG after tan howe liang in 1960. proud of you ladies =]

went to MS with cordee today. had pretty much a rough day with customer service cause we didnt get what we expected to get. first it was Creative, who said that they can't verify the problem on the spot regarding Cordee's zen stone plus' ridiculous battery life. (note Creative store behind left)
but before that, we HAD to catch swensens' executive lunch as the timing was right. so yea i HAD to had the designer ice cream lol. tried some new macaroni baked pasta stuff.
my favourite drink out of the home. ice lemon tea~

a place of past memories... and maybe the future? hehe.

so much that i had to pose with it~!~!

went to paragon's m1 CSC to find out why poor cordee was charged 16 bucks for calls mysteriously. came to light that it was carried over from her previous bill's excess, which wasnt explained AT ALL from the CSO at compass point's m1 shop. well well well... btw, bought cordee her first garment gift lol.

while waiting for her at the salon this noon, i managed to read a part of that 'three teachings' book by tenzin palmo, a very advanced English (yea, ang moh!) Nun. she wrote something about ' making others miserable just because they made you miserable, will only serve to make you even more miserable', or somewhere along that line. so the idea would be to wish everyone 'may you be well and happy'. if they dont want to listen to you, thats karma for them already. =] good night!

as the days come closer towards that blessed day when im reunited with my favorite PINK item, im starting to procrastinate more and more regarding this blog, probably just reminiscing the moments of my 'eventful' national service life. shall not reveal too much details, i dont want to spoil my ORD...

have you watched the two performances over the weekend? what a vast difference, i must say. apart from the fact that one is based on splurging-as-much-money-to-show-off-my-godlyness and the other is based on a military parade ceremony, you can tell that the chinese mean it when they say they'll make the best olympics ceremony there ever was. from the vast number of performers ( about 13000 altogether? omg!) to the extravagance on the fireworks, they REALLY mean it.

not that im saying ndp is bad, its fabulous this year. good job! and enjoy your manymany OFFs lol!

they say the housewife mum should be paid like a few hundred thousands annually for all the 'jobs' she performs on the course of her daily activities. i think the boyfriend should also be like that. then again. emotional gratification is good enough for me =]
