like finally, after the hard-disks-containing-next-album-songs-put-onto-strong-magnets incident, LP launches their new album "minutes to midnight". the new MTV of the promo single "what i've done" is pretty invoking of the contradiction of what it means to be human on this world. well i dont do philosophy duh, but a part of the world is emaciating while the rest are achieving their hourglass figures, 6-packs and whatnot. not that i want to die of obesity, nor do i want to die of hunger. it is the saddest thing that can ever happen to someone living in a world where people eat without thanking the people who brought the food to them (not god, for goodness sake), and remembering that theres people out there, due to unfair fuckers, die because they have no food to eat.
my point is, do whatever lavish things you like, and indulge in whatever pleasure you want. but, cherish every bit of it, cause out there are people who want it but cant.
what can we do about it? as little commoners, nothing. a splash of cold water in your face there. just like in a big organisation, as long as the boss likes to indulge in certain acts or whatever else alot, no matter the objections, nothing will change. bureaucracy? so be it then.
